Year 1969, M.A. German and Sociology

Dorothe Cremer works as a Freelancer for CarDelMar. Beforehand she worked on the organisation of events and Public Relations at the Evangelical Academy in Hamburg. She has also worked in the Public Relations and Marketing Department at “Argument” publishing company.    

As a Freelancer Dorothe Cremer works to date on a book, publishes articles in trade journals and works as a PR co-ordinator for CarDelMar “for myself as a PR co-ordinator” explains Dorothe Cremer “it is really helpful when the product and what it is all about really works and when the whole team is confident - just like at CarDelMar”    

What do you contribute to CarDelMar?
Flexibility, honesty and a passion for foreign languages. I enjoy it very much when I find new words to convey what CarDelMar offer: much more than just holiday car rentals at competitive prices! 

On the road - what is your favourite road to drive along?
It doesn’t matter if I am in the Black Forest in the summer behind a combine harvester or on a winding coastal road in the South of France.  Narrow country lanes are my favourite.  

 What are your favourite holiday destinations/resorts?
Regions where there are mountains as well as the sea such as La Gomera, the Cote d’Azur in Alpes-Maritimes or Mallorca.

What is your favourite holiday car?
Citroen DS

En-route in a rental car: What has been your best discovery whilst on holiday?
The wild, remote mountain scenery in the countryside of the Croatian Adriatic Sea. Time and again new intoxicating views, waterfalls, ravines, remote valleys with impressive stillness and above all nights under the open sky. The flora and fauna was also very exciting - there were several types of edible mushrooms and even bears! With regard to food a trip to the Loire leaves a lasting memory - in every village there was a pub where you could sample the regional French cuisine. Simply great!
