CarDelMar provides customers with a multiple choice of low cost coverage packages. All the information with regards to the coverage packages have been compiled and placed on this page.

CarDelMar Coverage Packages

Coverage with Excess (Standard)

Coverage with Excess (Standard Package): Package with excess payable in the event of damage or loss but not refundable, offers the following services.

  • Comprehensive cover with excess
  • Vehicle theft cover with excess
  • Third party insurance (the extent of the indemnity is usually limited in accordance with the terms and conditions of the local car hire companies)
  • Unlimited mileage
  • Local taxes
  • Airport delivery
  • Airport fees

Coverage with refund of Excess (All-Inclusive)

The Coverage with refund of Excess (All-Inclusive) package includes everything the Standard Package offers and the following additional benefits.


  • Comprehensive cover with refund of excess*, except in case of damage to glass, windows, wheels and/or tyres 
  • Vehicle theft cover with excess refund 

Coverage with refund of Excess including Glass & Tyres (All-Inclusive Plus)

CarDelMar's Coverage with refund of Excess including Glass & Tyres (All-Inclusive Plus) package guarantees additional service to the Coverage with refund of Excess (All-Inclusive) package:

  •  Refund of excess* in case of damage to glass, mirrors, wheels and tyres.

Coverage with refund of Excess including Extra Driver & Full Tank (All-Inclusive Gold)

The Coverage with refund of Excess including Extra Driver & Full Tank (All-Inclusive Gold) package is available only for USA and Canada destinations. This package includes the following benefits:



  • The Coverage with refund of Excess (All-Inclusive) package
  • All additional drivers free of charge
  • A full tank free of charge

Here is how it works: book as usual on www.cardelmar.co.uk. Once you have reached Booking Step 3, simply Upgrade your coverage package to your selected package.
