When booking car hire you can always encounter extra costs.  Two of the most common extra costs are the cost for young drivers and the cost of adding one or more additional drivers.  Whether these additional costs apply to you, please consult the rental terms and conditions of your car hire.

In certain countries, it is compulsory for young drivers (under 21 or 25 depending on the country) to pay an extra charge. Customers can check if this is the case by reading the terms and conditions in the country of rental.

The name of all drivers must be stated in the rental agreement. This is to ensure that the coverage and liability are valid. Additional fees may be applied for each additional driver. Please check the terms and conditions of the local car hire company prior to your departure.
