Of course the cultural aspects of St. Julians do not hide behind those that can be found in the centre of Valletta.  Visit the St. Julians Tower, a watch tower that was built in the times of the Knights of St. John.  From here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the town.  Take an excursion to the Baroque palace “Spinola Palace” – the former summer residence of the bishop of Spinola.  Although you will find many restaurants here, the architecture and the particular charm of this resort has been very well maintained.  Apart from the closely situated resort of Sliema that is practically St. Julians neighbouring town.  Malta has more to offer than a wide variety of free time and entertainment activities.  You can use your hired car to take a sight seeing trip around the island, visit Mdina- the oldest town in Malta where you can find the Temples of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra or the World Cultural Heritage Centre of Valletta.  It goes without saying that Malta has breathtaking countryside where you can hike and horse-ride as well as take part in every imaginable type of water activity.  You can even discover the surrounding areas in your hired car.
