Can I extend the rental period?

If you decide during the rental period that you would like to keep the hire car longer, please speak with the local car hire company first to see if it is possible, as the vehicle could already be booked by another customer.

If the car hire company confirms the extension is possible, please take note of the employee‘s name and then contact CarDelMar by telephone. We can then extend the voucher, in accordance with the relevant up-to-date CarDelMar terms and conditions. It is then the responsibility of the customer and the local car hire company to finalise and sign the updated car hire contract. If you want to extend the rental period according to terms and conditions of the local car hire company, then you only need to speak with them and explain that is what you want to do.

We generally recommend that you inform us and the local car hire partner of your desire to extend the rental period as soon as possible. This increases the chance of the extension being successful.
