Is the insurance included in the basic price?

The car hire company provides basic insurance. This is included in the hire price for the vehicle. The deduction, the amount of coverage and the General Terms and Conditions of Business vary from car hire company to car hire company. The amount of the liability cover provided is confirmed on your voucher.

CarDelMar offers several additional cheap service packages you can buy when making the booking so that even in a worst case scenario you do not have to worry.

These are:

 

  • Fully comprehensive insurance with a deductible (basic package)
  • Fully comprehensive insurance with reimbursement of the deduction (all-inclusive package)
  • Fully comprehensive insurance with reimbursement of the deduction – Extended to glass and tyres (all-inclusive plus package)
  • Fully comprehensive insurance with reimbursement of the deduction – Includes additonal driver(s) and filling the fuel tank once (all-inclusive gold package)
