What services are included in the individual packages?

Fully comprehensive insurance with a deductible (basic package)

This includes the following services:

  • Unlimited kilometres*
  • Liability cover (amount of cover in accordance with the conditions of the local car hire company)
  • Fully comprehensive insurance and vehicle theft proection with a deductible
  • Airport tax and delivery*
  • Local taxes

* Unless otherwise described in the local vehicle hire conditions.

Fully comprehensive insurance with a deductible (all-inclusive package)

This includes the services available in the "Fully comprehensive insurance with a deductible" pacakage and the following service:

  • Reimbursement of the deductible** (excluding damage to the glass and tyres)

Fully comprehensive insurance with reimbursement of the deduction – Extended to glass and tyres (all-inclusive plus package)

This package includes the same services available in the "Fully comprehensive package with a deductible" package and the following services:

  • Reimbursement of the deductible in the case of damage to the glass and tyres**

** Reminbursement of the deduction means that the deductible is included on your credit card by the local car hire company at the location if a claim is made. Please note that reimbursement of the deduction if a claim is made is not an insurance payment, but a service payment by CarDelMar.
CarDelMar recommends the "Fully comprehensive insurance without a deductible – Including damage to the glass and tyres" package. This means that you will be able to drive while having all-round protection.

Fully comprehensive insurance with reimbursement of the deduction – Includes additonal driver(s) and filling the fuel tank once (all-inclusive gold package)

This service package in only available in the USA destination and contains the same services as those included in the "Fully comprehensive insurance without a deductible – Including damage to the glass and tyres" package and the following services:

  • Fees for all additional drivers
  • Filling the fuel tank (the vehicle can be returned with an empty tank)
